Tokyo Disneyland 40th Anniversary
This year Tokyo Disneyland is celebrating its 40th Anniversary! This year-long celebration, called Dreams-Go-Round, will have lots of new things for guests to experience.
Guests will get to experience a new daytime parade, festive decorations, exclusive merchandise, and mouth-watering food choices. The festivities run until March 31, 2024.
A brand new daytime parade called Disney Harmony in Color will debut with the 40th anniversary at Tokyo Disneyland. The 12-float parade will be divided into themes of adventure, courage, family bonds, and friendship. They will depict various stories from all your favorite Disney and Pixar movies.
Our favorite Disney friends will also don brand new costumes for the 40th anniversary! The new costumes are fun and festive, featuring star-shaped motifs and moving decorations in a colorful and festive design. Mickey and Friends will feature the new costumes in the Disney Harmony in Color parade.
Cinderella Castle and the World Bazaar will be decorated for the 40th anniversary, along with the entrance to Tokyo DisneySea!
Tanabata Days at Tokyo Disneyland
Tanabata is a traditional Japanese festival that celebrates the meeting of two mythical deities, Orihime and Hikoboshi. The festival is usually held on July 7th in Japan, but at Tokyo Disneyland, it is celebrated for a few weeks during the summer.
